SO! You beauties have always asked me about my skincare routine and it’s about time I did an up to date one as the first post on my brand new website!
Before I get into what products I use, there are two things you can do on a day to day basis to help keep your skin clear and healthy. Firstly, drink plenty of water! Staying hydrated has lots of health benefits not just for your skin but for your general health and well being. Secondly, unhealthy foods are guaranteed to have a negative affect on your complexion, and again, your general health.
I don’t tend to wear a lot of makeup and when I do it’s usually very little, which obviously is going to help the condition of my skin. Whether I’ve had makeup on or not though without fail I’ll at least cleanse & moisturise before bed and in the morning after a shower. If you have sensitive skin like me you’re going to LOVE these products!
The cleanser I use is from the Simply Pure range by Superdrug called Micellar water. This is cruelty free, specifically made for sensitive skin, 100% fragrance free and super cheap to buy. Whats not to love?! I use it to remove my eye makeup too because it’s THAT gentle on the eyes & skin. Saves on getting extra makeup remover just for your eyes!

After cleansing I just go straight to moisturising. So here it is, Superdrug’s Simply Pure Hydrating Serum. Again, this is great for sensitive skin, cruelty free and cheap! My skin tends to get quite dry in the colder months and this stuff is AMAZING. You only need to use a tiny bit at a time so it lasts for ages and fits nicely in your bag for sore skin emergencies on no makeup days. Usually people would cleanse, tone, then moisturise. If you choose to add toning to this routine, the Simply Pure range have one to match these products too!

As you can tell I’m a little bit in love with this range of skincare products from Superdrug…
About a month ago I decided to add to my little collection and try this Leave On Water Mask. 2 or 3 times a week after cleansing I’ll cover my face in this (keep away from the eyes!) and just leave my skin to absorb it. Highly recommend this product if you suffer from dry skin. Skin feels so soft the next day and generally so much more fresh waking up on those early cold mornings!

I hope this was helpful! I wouldn’t post these products if I didn’t truly think they were great, but if this range doesn’t work as well for you then let me know what does!

Great post Pixie.
I’ve never tried the Simply Pure range from Superdrug but it sounds great – especially the leave on water mask.
I’m a big lover of the B. range that you can also find in Superdrug – it does wonders for my dry and sensitive skin! xx
